Robert Desmond


Desmond is a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, having served as an Air Traffic Controller after enlisting in 1949 from Boston, MA. Following the Korean War, he served in positions of growing responsibility within the Federal Aviation Administration and retired after over 30 years of service.

Desmond is a legacy Director and helped plan, develop, and execute the KWNM’s Denis J. Healy Freedom Center in Springfield, IL.

He resides in Nashua, New Hampshire.
